1st - 3rd February 2019
Our February Weekend Away is chance to enjoy fun, fellowship and food with Church family alongside teaching on Practising Joy. We’ll be thinking about how to rejoice in believing, serving and suffering for the gospel. Alan Purser, our speaker, will focus on the central teaching of 1 Peter set in the context of Peter’s life and ministry. Before retiring recently, Alan led the Church Partnerships team of Crosslinks, an international mission society. He has been with us for the past few years and we are delighted to welcome him back again.
We’ll be heading to the Emmaus Youth Village in the beautiful Durham Dales. It’s a great base for the weekend. Have a look at http://www.ymt.org/phone/emmaus-youth-village.html to see the facilities.
You’ll get the most out of the weekend if you can stay from Friday to Sunday, but if that won’t work for you then come as a day visitor. The day visitor rate includes Saturday and Sunday morning sessions, lunch both days and an evening meal on Saturday. If you are bringing children along there will be child care provided during the talks so parents can stay in the main hall and listen.
|Concessions (unwaged and students) / Children over 5 years old||£50|
The deadline for bookings is Friday 21st December, after which time we can’t promise to be able to accommodate you, so why not sign up now?
