Home Groups

Christ Church isn't about attending a weekly meeting and then carrying on with our individual lives just like everyone else does.  We want to learn to live in genuine community with each other throughout the week, sharing good times and difficult times, and helping one another live under God's word day by day.  Our home groups aim to help us do this.

The groups have a Bible study together typically on a Tuesday or Wednesday night, and often have socials at other times too.  One group gathers for prayer on Wednesday morning, while another often gets together for lunch on a Sunday.  Being part of a home group is about getting involved with a network of people, looking out for one another, reaching out, and growing in Christ together.

As a church we are still getting used to this idea and battling the individualism of our western culture is a real challenge for many of us.  But we know that God has called us to be part of his community, and would strongly encourage everyone who calls Christ Church their church, to get involved with one of these groups.
